Queen Beryl
Here’s another example of the heathen, who don’t even believe the Holy Bible and deny its power, yet they have to go by it—and everything in their lives and world is based on it.
The Japanese anime cartoon ‘Sailor Moon’ has a villainous character named ‘Queen Beryl’. This word “beryl” refers to a precious gem and is found in the AV 1611 in Ex. 28:20, 39:13; Song 5:14; Ezek. 1:16, 10:9, 28:13; Dan. 10:6; Rev. 21:20.
In the cartoon, Queen Beryl is the commander of the Dark Kingdom. That reminds me of what Satan does: he rules over his kingdom of darkness. (2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2, 6:11-12) Isn’t it interesting that when God is giving the most prominent details about Satan in the Old Testament (see Ezek. 28), the “beryl” (v. 13) stone is mentioned right slap in the middle!
Also, in the cartoon, Queen Beryl is basically a witch that consults with a crystal and uses magical powers. All of this is forbidden in the Bible and is demonic occultism. No wonder this ‘coincidence’ between Queen Beryl and the devil came up.
