THE BRANCH

Christ Jesus is prophesied as the “Branch” in Isaiah 4:2, 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, Jeremiah 33:15, and Zechariah 3:8, 6:12.  That’s significant because those are four prophecies and there are four Gospels in the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).  These Old Testament prophecies each describe a different ascpect of the BRANCH which just happens to correspond to each of the Gospels.  They also correspond to the creatures before God's throne in Revelation 4:7 & Ezekiel 1:10—Matthew (lion), Mark (ox), Luke (angel), and John (eagle). Amen.
