Which Words are Jesus’ Words?

One sentence Jesus spoke was so important that God had it written in scripture three times: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35; Mark 13:31 and Luke 21:33)

So Jesus’ words will never pass away. But which words are Jesus’ words? This is an important question, because God the Son promised those words will never pass away.

Hint: they are not just the “red letters!” In the Old Testament, whenever the “LORD” appeared to Adam, Abraham, Moses, Noah, and the prophets, it was Jesus. And Jesus is God the Son, who inspired all the writers of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

So which words are Jesus’ words? Every single word of the Bible! The Bible is God’s words to us.

Which Bible is that? We must look for a Bible that has never changed, that gives all glory and honor to God, protected to the death by the persecuted Christians. That is the Bible that God preserved. In English we have it as the King James Bible. And God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, says His words will never pass away. You have Jesus’ word on it.
