My Bible
Some people get all bent out
of shape because they can’t imagine God producing a perfect English Bible
through King James and the Church of England.
Many of them do this because
so several reasons: (1) They don’t know anything about King James (2) They
despise Protestantism (3) They don’t seek “the old paths” (4) They like to
remove the ancient landmarks (5) They despise God’s word and its authority (6)
They are jealous of any man God’s chooses to place honor.
It makes some people nauseas
to think of King James calling God’s inspired word “my Bible”. But that is exactly what Apostle Paul did
with the Gospel of Christ! He called it
“my gospel” (Romans 2:16,
16:25; 2 Timothy 2:8).
The Gospel of Christ wasn’t conceived in the mind of Paul. As a matter of fact he was previously a
persecutor of the church. Paul didn’t
die on the cross. Paul wasn’t buried and
resurrected. The Gospel of Christ is
about Jesus Christ; and the message or story of Christ was conceived in the
mind of God before the foundation of the world.
With all that said, God chose a MAN, not an
angel or a spirit, to be entrusted with the proper teaching of the gospel. He needed a spirit-filled man to put pen to
parchment and communicate this gospel.
And God chose Apostle Paul to be the author and preacher of the gospel
of Christ. And God chose King James to
be the commissioner of the final authority of the end times, yea “the holy
scriptures” (Rom. 1:2) in the universal language of the latter days, the
perfect Holy Bible.
So Apostle Paul can call it
“my gospel”. And King James can call it
“my Bible”. In Jesus
Christ’s holy name, Amen.
