PRESENT SALVATION FROM THE KING JAMES 1611 NEW TESTAMENT

 

·        We’ve already been reconciled *** “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled” (Col. 1:21)

·        We already possess eternal life *** “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” (John 6:47) *** “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36) *** “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” (1 John 5:11) "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24)

·        We already are new creatures *** “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Cor. 5:17)

·        We’re currently the righteousness of God *** “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Cor. 5:21) *** “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets” (Rom. 3:21) "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith" (Phil. 3:9)

·        We’ve already been raised to heaven  **** “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6)

·        We’ve already been saved *** “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Eph. 2:8) *** “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,” (2 Tim. 1:9) *** “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor. 1:18) *** “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.” (1 Cor. 15:1-2)

·        We presently have redemption *** “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” (Col. 1:14) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (Eph. 1:7) *** “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” (Rom. 3:24)

·        We’ve already been translated into Christ’s kingdom *** “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Col. 1:13)

·        We currently have peace with God *** “And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” (Col. 1:20)

·        We are presently justified by faith *** “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom. 5:1)

·        We presently have the love of God and the Holy Ghost in our hearts *** “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Rom. 5:5)

·        We’ve already been sealed by the Holy Spirit *** “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Eph. 1:13)

·        We already have the record from God that I have eternal life *** “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:10-13)

·        We’ve already passed from death to life *** “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24) *** "...that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" (1 Peter 2:9)

·        We already have eternal security *** “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 8:38-39)

·        We already possess sanctification *** “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” (1 Cor. 1:30-31) *** "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all... Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate." (Hebrews 10:1013:12)

·        We’ve already been regenerated *** “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5)

·        We’ve already been baptized into the body of Christ *** “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” (1 Cor. 12:13)

·        We are already priests of God *** “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ... But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:5, 9)

·        We’ve already been given POWER to become sons of God *** “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12)

·        We’ve already been perfected *** "Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." (Heb. 10:9-14)

·        We’ve already been quickened *** “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins... Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” (Ephesians 2:1, 5)

·        We already have all spiritual blessings *** “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3)

·        We’re already accepted in the beloved *** “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” (Ephesians 1:6)

·        We’ve already been given all things that pertain to life and godliness *** “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” (2 Peter 1:3)

·        We already possess all things *** "Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's." (1 Cor. 3:21-23)

·        We’re already heirs of God *** "Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." (Gal. 4:7)

·        And also joint-heirs with Christ *** "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." (Romans 8:17)

·             We are already joined to the Lord *** “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Cor. 6:17)

·        We’re already children of God *** "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." (Gal. 3:26)

·        We've already been washed in Christ's blood *** "Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood" (Rev. 1:5)

·        We are already saints *** "Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." (Rom. 1:6-7) *** "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:" (1 Cor. 1:2)

·        We have already been born-again *** “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Pet. 1:23) *** “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” (James 1:18)
