KJV Angels' Food
"Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full."
(Psalm 78:25 KJV)
Psalm 78:25 is found in the King James Bible, AND the King James Bible is found in Psalm 78:25. The Lord Jesus Christ said, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4).[i] And Christ Jesus said about His saints, "Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection." (Luke 20:36) Therefore, since the Lord Jesus Christ likens His saints to angels, and His Words to food: His people eat "angels' food" (Psalm 78:25). The King James Bible is "angels' food" (Ps. 78:25). In the Precious and Dear Name of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ I pray, Amen & Amen.
Now doctrinally, I'll add this: if
you're not eating "angels' food" (KJV) or if you're being
malnourished by some modern corruption of the Words of God, then you need to
seriously consider if you're born-again because the Word of God is not working
effectually in you (see I Thess. 2:13); and you need
to repent and get the right Bible.
Otherwise the worst thing you could hear would be: 'You're not my
angel.' (cf. Matt. 7:23) The Lord Jesus
Christ also speaks about the devil's angels. (see Matt. 25:41) What could be the food for the devil's
angels? Reprobate, corrupt, perversions
of the Words of God. This same Psalm 78
tells which angels eat these modern perversions: "evil angels" (Ps.
78:49). That's why when you go to the
grocery store you find Betty Crocker® 'angels food' cake mix and Duncan Hines®
'devils food' cake mix; another example of "emulations" (Gal.
You think this comparison between angels and the Words of God is absurd? Then you've never considered what's "wise" in II Timothy 3:15 and II Samuel 14:20.
