Blind to the Bible

A study in Laodiceanism:

By Prophet Jacob R. Blandford

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

(2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV)

We know from 2 Corinthians 4:4 that Satan blinds the lost from receiving Jesus Christ.  That’s the main thrust of that passage: viz. Satan keeps the gospel of Christ hidden from the minds of unbelievers.

But there’s another application to this.  Apostle Paul calls this the “glorious gospel” (cf. 2 Cor. 4:4; 1 Tim. 1:11).  And according to the Apostle Peter “the word of the Lord” or the Bible is essentially (in its entirety) the Gospel (see 1 Pet. 1:25).  So if Satan’s nefarious blinding methods don’t work, and men actually get saved—the next best thing he can do is blind saved people about the whereabouts of the best and true GLORIOUS Holy Bible (KJV)—so that he can hide it from them and thus hinder their growth as Christians (see 1 Pet. 2:2).  This is what is going on in the church of Laodicea in Revelation 3:14-22.  The risen Christ calls these Christians “blind” because they’ve rejected their Protestant Philadelphian (see Rev. 3:7-13) forefathers’ (Prov. 22:28, 23:10) pure and glorious Bible (AV 1611) for a corrupted (see 2 Cor. 2:17) and perverted (see Jer. 23:36) ecumenical bible from Rome (e.g. NIV, NKJV, RSV, NRSV, NLT, etc.).  Quote, “Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.” (Ps. 106:20 KJV) (cf. Jer. 2:11)  They did that in the United States of America in the beginning of the 20th century with the ASV of Philip Schaff in 1901.

By the way, if you don’t think the KJV is “glorious” it is because you aren’t learned enough in spiritual matters.  You aren’t wise as an angel of God to discern good and bad (see 2 Sam. 14:17, 20).  And you don’t appreciate the “pure language” (Zeph. 3:9) of the perfect, precise, inspired, infallible, and inerrant Elizabethan/Jacobean English Bible of the Protestant Reformation.  The King James Bible was prepared for the greatest missionary movement in church history (1600-1900 Anno Domini).

Also, I cited 1 Peter 2:2 a bit earlier—review that verse in a RSV to see a wonderful example of satanic perversion. (See ‘Let’s Weight the Evidence’ by Barry Burton, pages 29-30, 36.)  This is just one of THOUSANDS of examples.  The new bibles are so fraudulent and corrupt that you have to be ignorant or BLIND to not see their fallacy.

Just look through Barry Burton’s book ‘Let’s Weight the Evidence’ a few times to get a better idea of what’s REALLY going on in churches today (Laodicea). ‘Let’s Weight the Evidence’ is available from Chick Publications and Bible Baptist Bookstore.
