Blood and Sin

I saw on Brother Robert Breaker’s website that he said the word “sin” occurs 447 times in the KJV Bible. And the word “blood” also occurs 447 times. Therefore, Breaker said: “For every sin, there is enough blood to cover it in your King James Bible!”

However, I did not find the same results based on my research. I checked Blue Letter Bible’s website and my Strong’s concordance. I did find 447 instances of “blood”. But I found 448 instances of “sin”. But I have an explanation. There is one verse in the Scripture that discusses the unpardonable sin. That is 1 John 5:16. In that case even the “blood” won’t help him or her that has committed that sin. So subtract that one instance and you’re back at 447, where the blood covers all sin (1 John 1:7)!
