The Thirteen Colonies

What’s amazing is that ancient Israel consisted of 13 tribes and early America consisted of 13 colonies.  Both have borders on the ocean and look similar in shape.  This comparison wouldn’t be profound unless you considered the SPIRITUAL similarities.  America’s founding is awesome because it began with the best Bible (King James Version of 1611) during the best time in church history (Philadelphia [see Rev. 3:7-13]) with an English king (James I) with a Jewish name founding the nation (Jamestown, Virginia settlement).  Did you know that Hebrew almost became the spoken language in America?  I’ll take English however, because of the Elizabethan/Jacobean English Holy Bible being the "pure language" prophesied of in Zephaniah 3:9.  Israel, England, and America are the only nations that ever had a covenant with the God of gods.  I love the story that the nation (United States of America) I live in today began with Protestant Pilgrim Bible-believers, who through faith, crossed the Atlantic with nothing but God and the Geneva Bible.  They then wrote in the name of God Almighty (Mayflower Compact), as subject to the dread sovereign King James, in “advancement of the Christian faith”.  That was in 1620 and this marks the 400 year anniversary of that historical founding document of this nation.  America began with 13 colonies just as Israel began with 13 tribe allotments.  As long as America stayed true to the 1611 Holy Bible, God continued to bless her with churches, salvations, revivals, awakenings, godly leaders, and untold prosperity.    Today, with my swift, razor-sharp 1611 Protestant blade in hand, I, (as a citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia,) and through the power and grace of God, strive to continue to reinforce the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Biblical doctrine, and the Christian faith that makes the world a holy and safe place to live.  In Jesus Christ’s majestic name I pray, Amen & Amen.
