Easter and Lucifer

By Prophet Jacob R. Blandford

Gail Riplinger has noted in her book “The Dictionary Inside the King James Bible” that the words “Easter” (Acts 12:4) and “Lucifer” (Is. 14:12) both belong in the Bible.  The reason is not because Easter represents the pagan springtime holiday, but because the “east” is connected to the “rising of the sun” (Mal. 1:11; Mark 16:2) and “the Sun” (Mal. 4:2) is connected to the Son of God and the “rising” or Resurrection. [The sun is a star, and the greatest star in our solar system. {See also Psalm 19:4-5.}]  Now, in the Old Testament, there was a false female deity called “Astaroth” (Deut. 1:4; Judges 2:13).  This Astaroth was a satanic counterfeit of the “Star” which had been prophesied of by Moses in Numbers Chapter 24.  That “Star” in Num. 24:17 (note the capital “S”) was the true star that was born in St. Matthew Chapter 2—The Lord Jesus Christ.  You can almost see the word ‘star’ in ‘Astaroth’.  It’s similar to our modern words ‘astrology’, ‘astronaut’, and the Houston ‘Astros’ baseball team. (The Astros’ logo is a moving star.)  The name ‘Esther’ from the Biblical Book of Esther almost means ‘star’.  The women’s Masonic organization Eastern Star honors Esther in their ritual; and their emblem is a downward 5-pointed star (Matt. 2:2).  ¶ And the saints of God are “stars” according to Daniel 12:3 (cf. Phil. 2:15).  And those of us who are born-again (John 3:3) are the sons of God (John 1:12), and thus morning stars (Job 38:7).  So like most spiritual concepts, there’s a false star and a true star.  Now, the modern bibles have made this even more evident, by removing the name “Lucifer” from Isaiah 14 and replacing it with Christ’s title “morning star” (Rev. 2:28, 22:16)!  What blasphemy!  Some versions, like the RSV, read “day star”, well that also is Christ’s title in 2 Peter 1:19!  So we can see, since the time of Moses, up to this very day: in times of confusion, disorder, apostasy, and modern bible versions—Satan has been diligently deceiving people about the identity of the Scriptures’ “Star” and replacing him with false stars.  God help us, and I humbly advise you, in Christian love, stay with the KJV (1611) Holy Bible to direct your spiritual life.  In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
