Leaven

From Matthew 13:33, 16:11-12 it is easy to see that “leaven” is equated to false religious doctrine (of hypocrites) which corrupts or leavens true doctrinal bread (of true believers). We see a similar statement in Proverbs 20:17. And also we see, rightfully so, a negative viewpoint (from the Holy Spirit) on Transubstantiation in the same Book of Proverbs (Prov. 6:26). The “whorish women” in that verse is the Great Harlot from Rev. Ch. 17 & 18. With these things in view, isn’t it fitting that most heinous heresy in the RCC involves the BREAD at the Lord’s Supper or Communion; or what they call the ‘Eucharist’ (which term cannot be found in the Holy Bible). Actually, when Apostle Paul gave us the instructions on the Lord’s Supper in 1 Cor. 11, in that very same chapter he wrote: “For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.” (v. 19) The Roman Catholic religion has taken a MEMORIAL (see Luke 22:19) of Christ’s sacrifice that was “ONCE” (Heb. 7:27, 9:12, 26, 27, 28, 10:2, 10) offered and changed in into a perpetual fresh sacrificial offering of Jesus Christ! (see Heb. 6:6) Blasphemy! If you take Christ’s teaching on the Bread of Life in John 6 literally, you missed what the Lord said in verse 63; and you have not interpreted that chapter with Hosea 12:10 in mind. You have also forgotten one of the Lord’s most prominent statements in the Gospels: where Jesus Christ equated the word of God to BREAD! (Matt. 4:4; Luke 4:4) That’s unleavened bread if your have a KJV—and leavened bread if you have any bible version put out since 1881.
