Indisputably Linked

In the Bible, the Gospel of Christ (as revealed [cf. Gal. 1:12, 4:4] in the New Testament)[i] and Christ 2nd Coming are indisputably linked.

The Lord’s Supper (see Matt. 26:28-29; Mark 14:24-25; Luke 22:19-20; I Cor. 11:23-26) is the strongest proof of the relationship between the New Testament Gospel and Christ’s 2nd Coming.

There’s also an element of common sense.  Sith this Book contains scores of prophecies about Jesus’ Second Advent: then this is the same Book also that prepares you for His Return.  That’s why the Bible (KJV) is the Final Authority because it prepares you for the final moments.

Are we foolish enough to believe that although the Apostle Paul wrote by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost (see II Pet. 1:20-21, 3:15-16; II Tim. 3:15-16), 14 Epistles concerning the doctrine he called “my gospel” (Rom. 2:16, 16:25; II Tim. 2:8), which he received by supernatural revelation (see Gal. 1:12; Eph. 3:3), and at the same prophesied scores of prophecies concerning Christ Second Advent and eschatological events—are we so foolish to believe he didn’t know what Gospel end-time (latter-day) saints need to believe!?  No we’re not, and I thank God through Christ my Saviour that He’s corrected me and shown me to be an end-time Pauline follower. (see I Cor. 4:16, 11:1)  In Jesus Holy Name I pray, Amen & Amen.

The Lord Jesus Christ read the Scriptures from Isaiah Ch. 61 in Luke 4:18-19.  Do you know what’s contained in those passages the Lord quoted?  In verse 19 He closed the book right on the comma in Isaiah 61:2! [As a matter of fact, what’s a comma (,) in Isaiah 61:2, is a red period (.) in Luke 4:19.] Do you know what immediately follows that comma?  One of the strongest prophecies about the Lord’s Second Coming in the Bible: “...and the day of vengeance of our God...” (Is. 61:2).  “And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” (Luke 4:21)

First Timothy 6:13-14 may be one of the boldest ‘indisputably linked’ verses in the New Testament.  Remember, Apostle Paul writes in Chapter 1 of this same Epistle, “...teach no other doctrine” (I Tim. 1:3).  And in verse 3 of this same Chapter (1 Tim. 6), Apostle Paul commends us to: “...the words of our Lord Jesus Christ...” (1 Tim. 6:3).  What words could that be?  The words of Christ printed in red letters in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, and Revelation.  So again, the Gospels are connected with “...the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Timothy 6:14).  "I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Timothy 6:13-14).  Remember what you are reading!  This is the Holy Bible (AV 1611), the New Testament, Paul’s letters—this is what we are to keep “without spot... until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ”.  Don’t go to “another” book or gospel like the Mormons and Muslims do!  Stick with the tried and true, prophetically accurate English Holy Bible of the Protestant Reformation and Great Awakenings.

Titus 2:13, 3:5 connect the Pauline Gospel (cf. Gal. 2:16, 21; Eph. 2:8-9; Phil. 3:9) with the Rapture, or “...that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).

Mark 1:15, Galatians 4:4, and Ephesians 1:10, 3:9 teach us that the New Testament revelation is given to us in “...the dispensation of the fulness of times...” (Eph. 1:10), therefore we need not look any further than the New Testament; yea rather we need to be stedfast in what’s already been ‘fully’ revealed in the Bible.

How about the ‘Epistle of Christ’?  Don’t you think you should be obeying Christ’s Epistle since you’re looking for His Coming (see Titus 2:13; Heb. 9:28, 13:8)?  Of course you should be.  If not, you might be following “another Jesus” (II Cor. 11:4) or “false Christs (Matt. 24:24; Mark 13:22).  But you won’t find the ‘Epistle of Christ’ unless you open up a King James 1611 Authorized Version and turn to the New Testament, and then go to the Apostle Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthian Church, then look at Chapter 3, and finally read verse 3.  Obey Apostle Paul’s Spiritual precepts in II Corinthians Chapter 3, and Paul’s Gospel in the Pauline Epistles; and you’ll be obedient to the ‘Epistle of Christ’: and therefore will also qualify, by the Lord Jesus Christ’s grace, to meet Him at His Second Coming.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

John 12:48 is probably the greatest ‘i.l.’ Scripture in the New Testament because it’s the Dear Lord Jesus’ own words printed in blood-red permanent ink in a 1611 King James Bible.  The Lord Jesus says (notice the past tense), “...the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (John 12:48)

1 Thessalonians 1:10 is also a good ‘indisputably linked’ Scripture.  This passage connects with the doctrine of justification in Christ set forth in Romans 4:25.  To fit along with 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and Jesus Christ’s Second Coming: the Apostle Paul predicts the Rapture in Chapter 4 of this same Epistle (v. 16-17).  Further, in Chapter 5, Apostle Paul continues to augur concerning “the day of the Lord” (I Thess. 5:2); and in verse 10, again intertwined with Holy Spirit-inspired eschatological foretelling, the New Testament doctrine of Jesus Christ’s vicarious sufferings is adjoined.

Also 1 Corinthians 12:13 is another important ‘indisputably linked’ Scripture, knowing the “one Spirit” is the one “Spirit of truth” (John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13).  Apostle Paul is here making a statement to is true of all saints in this church age.  Amen.

The Resurrection is clearly connected to the Pauline Gospel; because in the great resurrection Chapter of the Bible (I Corinthians Chapter 15), Paul’s Scriptural[ii] Gospel is given in the beginning of the Chapter (I Cor. 15:1-4).  In verse 52 “the last trump” of the Rapture (viz. “the first resurrection” [Rev. 20:5, 6]) is prophesied.  When Paul predicted the Rapture in I Thessalonians 4:16-17 he again wrote, “the trump of God”.

The knowledge discussed in ‘Old Testament apologetics.doc’ and John 12:48; Rev. 1:3, 8, 22:7, 20; Heb. 7:12, 21-22, 24, 9:26-28, 10:37-39, 13:20 shews that the KJV is the perfect & ultimate end-time Bible.  THE BOOK OF REVELATION CLOSES THE DOOR ON REVELATION. (~1611 A.D., Philadelphia—cf. Rev. 3:7, 10)  If it doesn’t, I’d like to know how you handle the Apostle Paul prophecy of Christ’s Second Coming in II Thessalonians 1:7-10?  If you say it didn’t shut on Revelation (or Apocalypse), then you make Paul a deceiver and a liar (which he was not) in II Thessalonians 1:7-10.  Also, the Book of Revelation indirectly references the Old Testament many times, which also fits in with ‘Old Testament apologetics.doc’.

But let’s look and study deeper II Thessalonians 1:7-10.  First verse 8.  The great Apostle tells us that those who will be eternally destroyed at Christ’s Second Advent will be those who, “obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:” (v. 8).  That’s a very clear statement.  Well, what “gospel” was Paul talking about?  The Gospel he preached in 14 New Testament Epistles!  The Gospel he called “my gospel”[iii] (Rom. 2:16, 16:25; II Tim. 2:8).  The Gospel of the Cross.  The Gospel of Grace.  The Gospel of Truth. (see ‘The Real Jesus.doc’)  The Gospel of Christ’s shed blood.  Paul preached the Gospel of Christ’s righteousness imputed by faith. (see Rom. Ch. 4).  The Gospel of justification by faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. (see Rom. 1:17, 3:25; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 10:38; Hab. 2:4)  The Gospel preached to Abraham (see Gal. 3:8) and the wilderness Jews (see Heb. 4:2).  The Gospel is the Word of God, Amen.  Paul is talking about Bible-believers here, Old & New Testaments.  The infallible, eternal Words of God.  “But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” (I Pet. 1:25) See also Isaiah 40:8.

Secondly let’s look at verse 10.  Notice the prophetic parenthetic phrase in verse 10, “(because our testimony among you was believed)”.  Again, the Apostle Paul says that belief in “our testimony” is the prerequisite for being saved at Christ’s Return.  By “our testimony” he means the New Testament writings he and the other Apostles preached—Peter, Paul, James, John, Mark, Luke, Matthew, and Jude. (see I Cor. 3:11; Eph. 2:20) The word “testimony” refers to our “testator” (Heb. 9:16, 17), Jesus Christ, who is the “surety of a better testament” (Heb. 7:22) and “the mediator of the new testament” (Heb. 9:15).  And Christ’s Priestly mediation of New Testament after the Order of Melchisedec is eternal and unchangeable. (see Heb. 7:12, 21, 24).  The “testimony” Paul here writes of is the testate Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Both the testimony and the Testator (Jesus) are memorialized as “the new testament” ordinance we are commanded to observe till the Lord Jesus returns. (see I Cor. 11:25-26)  And to cap things off, look how the Holy Ghost led Paul to close this prophetic utterance, after this prophetical parenthetical phrase: “...in that day.” (v. 10)  What day is that?  The next Chapter tells us, “...the day of Christ is at hand.” (II Thessalonians 2:2)

No genuine Bible scholar on earth would disagree that the events described in 2 Thessalonians 2 are eschatological prophecies.  The reason is because this chapter predicts both the full revealing of the Antichrist (the final pope), and his destruction at the Lord Jesus Christ’s Coming (see 2 Thess. 2:8).  That’s completely clear: and I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for the clarity the Holy Spirit has shown me concerning this.  So watch what happens in the remaining verses of this Book (2 Thessalonians): Paul tells we’ve been called by “our gospel” (2 Thess. 2:14).  Who’s “our”?  Paul and the apostles!  Apostle Paul wrote 2 Thessalonians in the 1st century.  So again, I ask you, are the prophetic details concerning Christ’s Second Coming relevant to you today as a Christian in the 21st century?  Of course they are, and that’s why 2 Thess. 2 is important to you.  And 2 Thess. 2 is important to you because you’ve been saved by the same Gospel Paul preached and wrote of nearly 2,000 years ago.  Therefore we’re commended in verse 15 to remain stedfast in the Apostolic/New Testament Epistles.  As a matter of fact, in the 3rd Chapter of 2 Thessalonians we’re told to withdraw ourselves in vss. 6, 14 from anyone who disobeys the precepts of the Pauline Epistles.  In short, if you (as a Christian) want to abide through the end-time (near future) events Apostle Paul predicted 2,000 years ago, you need to also obey the Gospel and doctrine of Christ which Paul set forth 2,000 years as the apostle to the Gentiles (see Rom. 11:3, 15:16).  Keep your New Testament in your hand!

Now here’s the proverbial ‘nail in the coffin’.  This Revelation Chapter 22.  This is the last Book of the Bible and the very last Chapter of the Bible.  And this Chapter strongly, indisputably links our 66-Biblical Canon Bible with the Lord Jesus Christ’s Return.  Look at Rev. 22:6, “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true...” notice this phrase is very similar to what we read in the previous Chapter: “...And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Rev. 21:5)  Christ’s ‘words and sayings’ which are both ‘faithful and true’ are not subject to change: as a matter of fact change is the exact opposite of faithfulness and truth.  If we pay attention to these words, we’ll clearly see what the Lord Jesus Christ is saying about His Words: that they’re immutable and stedfast.  Revelation 22:6 goes on to say, “...and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”  That’s similar to what’s the Holy Spirit said in Revelation 1:3, and Verse 10 of this same Chapter (22): “...the time is at hand.”  That’s like saying, ‘Everything’s ready.’  We need to be assured by such sacred passages as these that God Almighty is His Sovereign foresight has given us a Book which is 100% complete, and completely relevant to everything that is and ever will be.  All preparations have been made by the Holy Spirit to deliver us a perfect Book which will carry us into the end-time/eschatological/apocalyptic events of this Book of Revelation and into eternity.  Again, we need be assured that this Book (Holy Bible–KJV 1611) is prepared and ready to carry us through “...unto the end...” (Rev. 2:26).  Consider Rev. 22:7, first the imminence of Jesus’ return is clearly stated “Behold, I come quickly”; then we’re given a ‘beatitude’—”...blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” (Rev. 22:7)  Do you want to be blessed at Christ’s Return?  Then you have to do what He says in this verse (note: also this verse is printed in red Words of Christ).  You have to ‘keep’ the book.  Which “book” is Jesus referring to?  It’s “this book”, viz. the Book of Revelation.  What’s the Book of Revelation part of?  The New Testament.  What’s the New Testament part of?  The Holy Bible.  When Jesus says, “this book” it should be assumed (not presumed) He includes all Canonical Bible Books as THE BOOK.  So that’s what you do, to ‘abide at his coming’. (see Mal. 3:2)  Keep the Book.  Don’t get rid of it like all cults, secular humanists, pagans, and evolutions do.  Don’t change it either (cf. Rev. 22:18-19), like apostate scholars do.  Next the angel tells John, “...Seal not the saying of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.” (Rev. 22:10)  How much more eschatological can you get?  The angel’s saying ‘It’s ready!’  Again, remember we’re dealing here with THE prophetic and apocalyptic Book, in the last Chapter of the entire Bible.  Words and sayings of prophecy know the future, therefore their instructions already included a predetermined understanding of what will be, and shall be, and will always be acceptable in the future.  This angel knew that ahead of time, that’s why he said, “...Seal not...for the time is at hand.” (Rev. 22:10)  The angel knew the time was at hand because he knew the prophetic truth of the future; and it’s the same now in A.D. 2010 as it was when the angel gave it to John in A.D. 90.  Next point is in another verse in red from the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Eternal Words of Truth: He declares again, “And, behold, I come quickly...” (Rev. 22:12).  The Lord Jesus clearly indicates His imminent return 3 times in this Chapter (verses 7, 12, 20).  He also says, “Behold, I come as a thief.” (Rev. 16:15), right before John predicated the Battle of Armageddon. (see Rev. 16:16)  Surely that’s an indication that the Book of Revelation is the Book you need to be obeying at Christ’s Coming, because it’s attached to His Coming and the Battle of battles that ends all battles!  And if it’s the Book of Revelation we need to be obeying at Christ’s coming; it’s also the Book Revelation it’s apart of that we need to be obeying—i.e. The Holy Bible.  Yes, Revelation itself is considered ‘a’ Book of the Bible, but the Holy Bible is ‘THE’ BOOK.  Next, is verse 13, remember this is also still dealing with the last Chapter of the Bible predicating Christ’s Second Coming, and why we need to be cleaving to this Bible that’s predicts Jesus’ Second Coming at His Second Coming.  Verse 13 start with a red-letter Tetragrammaton “I am”. (That ought to be enough right there!)  And then we’re given 3 titles of the Lord Jesus Christ: “Alpha and Omega”, “the beginning and the end”, and “the first and the last”.  Jesus Christ declares His titles elsewhere in this Book of Revelation in Rev. 1:8, 11, 17, 2:8, 21:6.  Reading Jesus’ Divine prophetical/eternal Titles such as this: it’s blasphemous to assert or imply that somehow or another, what the Lord of Glory initially spoke would not be ‘relevant’ to end times; especially considering the entire context of the discourse of this Book and Chapter is primarily concerned with the end times and the Lord Jesus’ Return.  Now we have a significant ‘interjection’ by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself in Revelation XXII Verse XVI.  This Scripture is printed in red letters in the King James Bible, because these are the ‘Words of Jesus’.  Here the Lord Jesus Christ provides a wonderful ‘testimony’ of His angel.  Now let me say something: If you can’t believe the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, when He tellus you He’s testifying, then you can’t believe ANYTHING.  This is the most assured statement you could possibly put before your eyes.  A 50 thousand ton granite rock is dust and chaff compare to the solidness of the Lord Jesus Christ’s testimony—He Who is Truth and cannot lie. (see Titus 1:2)  Notice also in verse 16 we’re shewed a couple of the Lord Jesus Christ’s awesome Titles.  We see a Tetragrammaton again, followed by “...the root and offspring of David...”, which is a reference to the Lord Jesus Christ’s Kingship as David was once king of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ is the “root of Jesse” from Isaiah 11: where we need several prophecies concerning the Millennial Reign of the Lord Jesus Christ.  And “the morning star” Title is spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ, applying it to Himself.  We saw this Holy Title earlier in Chapter 2, Verse 28.  For the next point we’ll include 3 verses: Revelation 22:18-20.  As KJV-Bible believers we should be very familiar this great and terrible warning at the close of this Book.  This warning commends us to REVERENCE this Book and never meddle with it.  Despite modern scholars failures to do both, we must as true Christians strive to esteem these “words of truth” (Prov. 22:21) as high as God Himself does (see Ps. 89:7, 138:2).  Now let me ask you a question: Why would the Holy Ghost warn us to fear this Book (again we’re dealing with both the Book of Revelation and the entire Bible) in verses 18-19, and not to in any wise to meddle with it, and then again connect the warnings with verse 20 predicating again the Lord Jesus Christ’s imminent return (again in red words of Christ), viz. “Surely I come quickly. Amen.” (Note: “Amen.” means ‘true and firm’)—if the Holy “spirit of prophecy” (Rev. 19:10) wasn’t sure the Bible was the Book God Almighty wanted us to be reading, (which Text glorifies His Only Begotten Son (see John 5:23, 39),) at His Return?  Let me tell you, if you think God could make such a mistake as that, you might as well blaspheme His Name and try to strip Jesus Christ of His Eternally Prophetic titles in verse 13.  Such insinuations are indeed blasphemous, and the marks of apostate FOOLISHNESS.  Lastly, and chiefly, Christians are commended in the last Book of the entire Bible, the last Chapter, in the very last verse to “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ...” (Rev. 22:21).  See that word “grace”, that’s G–R–A–C–E.  That’s the New Testament Pauline gospel/grace of Christ. (see Gal. 1:6,7) [See Romans 5:21 & ‘Same Gospel.doc’.]  So there you have it.  It’s quote ‘plain as day’.  And according to Romans 11:6, it’s not true grace if it’s by works.  You’re not a Christian if you’re not obeying the grace of Christ, and neither will you be prepared for “THE END” (written at the end of the Bible after Rev. 22:21) if you’re not obeying the “grace” of the Lord Jesus Christ.  And you won’t find the “grace of Christ” anywhere other than the New Testament of the HOLY BIBLE.  I humbly thank the Lord Jesus Christ my Saviour and Master, Who’s graciously given me utterance to write these eschatological/prophetical comments concerning this last Chapter, Revelation 22 of the King James Holy Bible (AV 1611).  Thank you my Lord God Jesus!  In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the glory of the Eternal Father, by the Power of the Holy Ghost, I pray, Amen and Amen.

Part 2

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24 KJV)

"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." (John 6:29 KJV)

The Lord Jesus Christ's own Words in King James 1611 red letters, which He said, "...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." (John 6:63)  And said, "...and the scripture cannot be broken;" (John 10:35).  And St. Peter saith, "...thou hast the words of eternal life." (John 6:68)  In St. John's Gospel, probably the most famous Book of the Holy Christian Bible, the Lord Jesus Himself spoke of the resurrection several times, connecting it with the New Testament doctrine of belief in Him. (see John 5:25-29, 39-40, 44, 54, 11:25-26, 48)   Therefore if the resurrection has not yet occurred, we need to still believe His Words here in John's Gospel!  And it's blasphemy to think the Prince of Truth would not tell the truth about what is required to meet the resurrection, and mislead us?!

The Lord Jesus Christ said "Verily, verily" 25 times in John's Gospel.  When the Truth (see John 1:14, 17, 14:6) speaks the truth (see John 8:40, 45), then believe the Truth! (see John 12:35-36)

Also don't forget, St. John also wrote Revelation. (see Rev. 1:1, 4, 9, 21:2, 22:8) Revelation also is that apocalyptic/eschatological Book which also, like John's Gospel, discusses the resurrection in detail.  It also contains 63 verses spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ blood red.

Moreover, St. John records the Lord Jesus Christ's last Words on the Cross, "It is finished:" (John 19:30).  Consider and compare that phraseology with what John records in the Book of Revelation: "It is done." (Rev. 16:17, 21:6)  In Jesus' Holy Name I pray, Amen & Amen.

¶Consider John Chapter 14, specifically John 14:6.  This is one of the most powerful Scriptures in the Bible, and its ‘blood & fire’ red ink words of Jesus Christ.  Bible-believers are very familiar with this passage, because doctrinally it shews very clearly the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.  Amen.  Now in reference to John 14:6 being an ‘indisputably linked’ Scriptures: simply examine the context.  The Lord Jesus is speaking about His Second Coming (see John 14:1-4).  The apostle Thomas then asks about “the way” Christ spoke of.  That’s when Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)  What was true about the Lord Jesus Christ when He first said this: the same is true today. (see Heb. 13:8)  Scriptural truth (see Dan. 10:21) is eternal and immutable. (see Ps. 117:2)  Therefore same “way” the Lord Jesus commended His apostles to, is the same “way” today.

Otherwise the Lord Jesus wouldn’t have likened their way (1st century) with our way (21st century): which is shortly before His Return.  The Lord could prophesy as easy as a normal man can talk, He would have related it if there was any discrepancy between the doctrine of Christ they believed and the doctrine of Christ we believe.

Also there has always been what’s called the ‘doctrine of imminence’ throughout the Church Age.  Namely, Christ could return at any moment.  They believed in the 1st Century that we could come back then.  True Church members having never been looking for the Truth to change; true Church members have looking for Christ to come back and change them! (see I Cor. 15:51-52)

¶The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Philippians is an 'indisputably linked' epistle.  Why?  Because Paul, while discussing the New Testament Pauline "gospel of Christ" (Phil. 1:27) and "the cross of Christ" (Phil. 3:18), goes into details about "the day of Christ" (Phil. 1:10, 2:16), the resurrection (see Phil. 3:10, 11, 21), the Second Coming of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (see Phil. 3:20), and says "...The Lord is at hand." (Phil. 4:5)

When we come to Philippians 3:9-11, we can see that the New Testament doctrine of justification through faith (v. 9) is connected with “the resurrection of the dead” (v. 11).  [This is that eschatological resurrection the Lord Jesus Christ predicted in John 5:29 and the prophet Daniel in Daniel 12:2.]  It should be also noted that these verses (9, 10, and 11) are not independent clauses; as a matter of fact, there’s not even a period punctuation between them.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.  He's not being deceptive.  To move away from the New Testament Epistles (when they are so obviously connected to Christ's return) is a slander against the Holy Ghost: insinuating that everything He led the Apostles to write in the New Testament was and is misleading.

Part 3

Indisputably Linked Part 3:

2 Peter and Jude

We can 'couple' these next 'indisputably linked' Scriptures because they come from 2 Peter and Jude.  Some of the passages from the General Epistles of 2 Peter and Jude borrow from one another, and can be considered 'companion' passages: this is one of them.  This is a prophetical prediction of "scoffers" and "mockers" is the latter days.  And if there was ever a "generation" (Prov. 30:11-14) that was full of contempt and ridicule for the pure things of God and of Christ, it's this 20th and 21st century "untoward generation" (Acts 2:40).  This ridicule comes from both within and without of the Church of Jesus Christ.  From without it comes from blasphemous movies, tv shows (hell-vision), music, magazine, etc.; all of it shows no respect to the Lord Jesus Christ, but rather it shows blatant disrespect and blasphemy.  From within it's hypocrites and apostates who mock the concept of a perfect Bible, despise the King James Text, and belittle King James Bible-believers.  Not to mention they 'correct' the Bible constantly and presumptuously think they can give us the Bible now (cf. I Tim. 4:1; II Tim. 3:1, 8, 4:3), as if it has been lost for 20 centuries; they assume nobody, not even the Reformation (Philadelphian) Church, had a copy of God's holy writ.  So it's a full-fledged warfare these days against the faithful from every angle, but we need to remember: "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (I Cor. 15:57)  The fact that these mockers are here today in such an 'extreme' (a popular word nowadays) or "fierce" (II Tim. 3:3) fashion; should be proof enough that the NEW TESTAMENT Apostles (e.g. Jude & Peter) were right on target.  And since their prophecies are right on target, so is their NEW TESTAMENT doctrine—the prophetical fulfillment of 'hyper-mocking' adds more weight to Jude's and Peter's Epistles than anything any so-called 'scholar' could muster up on his best day.

With that said by means of introduction: consider how II Peter 3:2-3 and Jude 17-18 (notice the companionship) convey the same truth.  We are told the following:

"This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts," (II Pet. 3:1-3)

"But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts." (Jude 17-18)

The New Testament Apostles' "words" (II Pet. 3:2; Jude 17) [viz. the Gospels {cf. 1 Tim. 6:3} and Epistles] are directly associated in the proceeding verses with "the last days" (II Pet. 3:3) and "the last time" (Jude 18).  Notice something else, these verses are not independent; there isn't even a period punctuation mark between 2 Peter verse 2 and 3 or Jude verse 17 and 18—there's a colon and a semicolon.

As for a final 'nail in the coffin' against the lies of those who would move us away from being strictly obedient to the New Testament Epistles (cf. Eph. 4:14), the Apostle Peter specifically mentions the Apostle Paul's "epistles" and then calls them "scriptures" in this very same Chapter (see II Pet. 3:15-16).  This is what we call a CLEAR connection between the New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In light of this eschatological relevance, we as saints in these last days need to receive Peter’s admonishment addressed to the faithful in 1 Peter 3:14, as being spoken directly to us today.  In the Almighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray, Amen & Amen.

Indisputably Linked Part 4

(1 Peter Chapter 1)

1 Pet. 1:10-11 and 2 Pet. 1:20-21 are similar passages.  Both refer to Old Testament prophets prophesying about Christ, and the Christian doctrine.  Apostle Peter summarizes this Christian doctrine they prophesied of as “grace” in I Pet. 1:10.  This ‘the grace/gospel of Christ’ (see Gal. 1:6, 7) is what Apostle Paul preached. (cf. Acts 20:24)  Notice the word “grace” is synonymous with “gospel” in the New Testament.  ‘Gospel’ actually means “good news” (e.g. Prov. 25:25), and yes grace is good news!  Especially considering our inability of being justified by the law. (cf. Rom. 3:20; Gal. 3:11)

Then to despite all heretics who slander the Holy Ghost, and Christ’s New Testament doctrine, by claiming the New Testament Gospel of Grace has changed somehow or another, and is mutable: Saint Peter waxes bold and admonishes us to be stedfast in this same gospel of the grace of Christ all the way up to His Second Coming—“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Pet. 1:13).  Again, notice the words “grace” and “revelation” are connected. (cf. Gal. 1:6-7, 12; Rev. 1:1, 22:21)

Next, in the last few verses of the same Chapter (1 Pet. 1), the Holy Ghost (speaking through Peter) tells us some truths about the word of God and the gospel itself.  Here Peter quotes Isaiah 40:6-8.  Isaiah 40:8 clearly proclaims, “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”  Peter and Isaiah contrasting flesh verse spirit. (cf. Is. 31:3; I Cor. 15:50)  Whereas all flesh dies, perishes, corrupts, and ceases—the word of God prolongs, endures, withstands, continues, etc.  Therefore, the emphasis is again on the immutability and longevity of God’s Word (cf. Num. 23:19; Heb. 6:17-18; Ps. 119:89, 160)—even as much as spirit is greater than flesh.  And the of course one must understand the Word of God is inspired by God’s Spirit, as the Apostles tells us in 2 Peter 1:21.  Therefore all the attributes of eternality that apply to the Spirit; also apply to the word.  Then to further specify, Peter conveys the truth that the gospel itself is defined as the word of God. (see I Pet. 1:25)  This is in line with what Paul teaches us too in Romans 10:16-17 and 2 Timothy 2:8-9.  Thus to closes this analysis, we project this thesis: all the eternal and immutable attributes of Christ’s Spirit must also be attributed to the word of God: and specifically the New Testament Gospel of the Grace of Christ Jesus.

Also from 1 Peter 1 we read Verse 20.  This Scripture relates to Revelation 13:8, which I’ve elucidated in ‘Same Gospel.doc’.

Part 5

Indisputably Linked Part 5:

The General Epistle of Jude

Jude’s Epistle contains several eschatological references: viz. the final (great white throne) judgment (vss. 6, 7, 13, 15), the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ (vss. 14-15, 21), last time mockers (vs. 18), and the resurrection (vs. 24).  With Jude’s prophetic foresight in mind, let’s remember that the Christian faith St. Jude wrote of in the 1st century was: “...the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” (Jude 3)  Mormons falsely call themselves ‘latter day saints’, but according to the Book of Jude: they’re the false prophets the Holy Ghost warned about in verse 4.  A true ‘latter day saint’ will abide in the same doctrine of Christian faith his 1st century apostles did—because the only true Christian doctrine “...was once delivered unto the saints.” (Jude 3)  Further, Mormons and other legalists do not abide in “the grace of our God” (vs. 4).  That’s the same person John told you to kick out of your house. (see 2 John 10)  Mormons promote a distorted works doctrine, mixing Biblical truth with the blasphemous errors of Joseph Smith.  But again, the true Gospel of Christ in this Church Age is the doctrine of Christ’s “grace”.  You only need to read the Pauline Epistle to see the clarity of that truth; and this is the gracious truth of Jesus Christ which Apostle Paul commends us to remain stedfast in.  The modern false bibles are also predicted in verse 4: “...and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”  That’s EXACTLY what Westcott and Hort did with their Greek text in literally SCORES of traditional, orthodox, Textus Receptus, King James readings. (See ‘Look What’s Missing’ by David W. Daniels.)  So here again, this prophecy, (though warning of evil men,) confirms the inspirational relevance of the 1st century New Testament doctrine to this very hour.  Remember, it’s the Gospel of Christ’s GRACE which was ONCE delivered.  In the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen & Amen.

Read Acts 15.  This is the conference at Jerusalem made up of the founders of your Christian religion—the Apostles.  They said a man was justified by grace, not the law. (see Acts 15:11)  Well has anything changed since the 1st century?  I’ll ask you another question.  Has the tabernacle of David been rebuilt? (see Acts 15:15-17; Amos 9:11-12)  Nope.  Okay then, keep obeying the Jerusalem’s conference decree of grace.

[i] Summarized as the gracious Gospel. (see Gal. 1:6, 7; Acts 20:24; 1 Pet. 5:12)

[ii] Notice the word “scriptures” in I Corinthians 15:3, 4.  And “...the scripture cannot be broken;” (John 10:35 KJV).

[iii] I’m glad the Lord Jesus raised up Paul the Apostle, who took so much care and devotion to his calling he called the Gospel “my gospel”.  That wasn’t a boastful phrase.  Paul was one of the most humble men to ever live. (see Acts 20:19-20, 27) He called it “my gospel” because he took responsibility in the sight of Christ and of God.  Thank You Lord Jesus, for Paul and the Apostles, Amen.
