The Micah
Miracle
Sometime in
December last year (2018 Anno Domini) before Christmas, I was practicing my
reading of Micah 5:1-4 before my parents in the living room. I recited it
a couple times and expounded the passage; and then even read it from a NIV to
compare. Only a few minutes later I went to my apartment room and turned
on EWTN. Mitch Pacwa was hosting EWTN Live and having a Christmas
special. He then began to talk about the Micah prophecy. He read
the passage (probably from the RSV) and then began to explain just how
miraculous this prophecy was: because God used Caesar and the Roman government
to fulfill the prophecy even though they were unaware of it. It truly
speaks to the wisdom and power of God, Amen.
Well, if I
remember correctly, it was about a week or two later I read the Micah passage
at MMBC at the Christmas Eve service. I read it from the AV: and felt I
did a good job. I thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for that
opportunity to glorify Him, Amen!
I wanted to
comment on how miraculous it was that I heard Mitch Pacwa preach on Micah 5
right after I had spoken to my parents about it: and then later read it on
Christmas Eve. Praise the Lord! Amen.
