(cf. I Tim. 2:5; Acts 4:12)

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

(John 2:4, 5)

“Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.” (Jeremiah 14:22)

“Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?” (Job 5:1)

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Ex. 20:3)

·        A repudiation against Mariolatry. (aka “queen of heaven” (Jer. 7:17, 44:17, 18, 19, 25) worship.)

·        The idolatrous worship of “Diana of the Ephesians” (Acts 19:28, 24) is a prophetic type of Mariolatry in Acts 19.

·        “... for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.” (Isaiah 47:5)

·        KJV Scripture References—see Matt. 12:46-50; Mark 3:32-35; Luke 8:19-21, 11:27-28; John 2:1-5

·        Jesus the Son is the Anointed One or Christ or Messiah; Mary doesn’t even come close to having that title.  Psalm 2 says the LORD’S “Son” (v. 7) is the “anointed” (v. 2; Acts 4:26) and to “Kiss the Son” (v. 12), not Mary.

·        Mary claimed her need for a “Saviour” in Luke 1:47.  And Jesus Christ is the only One Who could save her. (see Acts 4:12)  See why Catholics have not been “rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Tim. 2:15)?  The Lord Jesus Christ paid for the sins of the whole world on the Cross (see I John 2:2), including Mary’s sins.  ¶ In Luke 2:21-24 Mary brought a “sin offering” (Lev. 12:6) to the temple for purification according to Leviticus Chapter 12, when Jesus was born and circumcised eight days later. ¶ Do you see why Mary needed a Saviour, and needed to bring a sin offering?  She didn’t claim to be above these things, she knew her “low estate” (Luke 1:48) because of Romans 3:10, 12, 23.

·        In spite of Luke 1:47 and Leviticus 12 (cf. Luke 2:21-24), on December 8th, 1854 the Roman Catholic pope Pius IX announced Mary was ‘immaculate in her conception’, viz. she was without sin.[i]  That’s a Biblical heresy.  Mary was a holy woman, she was a pure saint, and she conceived the holy child Jesus as a virgin (see Is. 7:14); but she was not sinless.  Mary had an Adamic sin nature, Jesus didn’t.  Mary wasn’t conceived of the Holy Ghost, but Jesus was.

·        In Luke 1 Gabriel had to tell Mary what was going to happen to her with the birth of Jesus.  No angel ever had to inform or prophesy to Jesus because He is omniscient, Mary wasn’t.

·        Very briefly, here’s the difference between Mary and the Lord Jesus Christ: Mary was a creation, Jesus is the Creator (see Col. 1:16).  Also, in Luke 1:47 Mary declared she needed the “Saviour”.  Jesus however needed no saviour because He Himself is the only true Saviour.

·        The NIV is ecumenical in Isaiah 7:14: it reads “the virgin” instead of “a virgin” as in the King James Bible.  It’s a vain and subtle attempt of the NIV translators to deify Mary.

·        In the KJV, Mary is simply referred to as “a virgin” (Is. 7:14) and “a woman” (Gal. 4:4).

·        In Luke 2 Mary loses Jesus and can’t even find him for three days.  That doesn’t sound like Mary is divine there!

·        The last time Mary is mentioned in the Bible is Acts Ch. 1 where the disciples are found praying WITH not TO Mary. (see Acts 1:13-14)

·        "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Tim. 2:5) ¶ Mary had no eternality nor pre-existence.  Christ did according to Mic. 5:2 KJV.

·        There is no mention of Mary (Jesus’ mother) in the Pauline Epistles or the Catholic Epistles.

·        "...and men shall be blessed in him..." (Ps. 72:17) BLESSED IN HIM (JESUS)!  NOT HER (MARY)! (cf. Eph. 1:3)

·        "Whom have I in heaven but thee?" (Ps. 73:25)  NO ONE BUT JEHOVAH!  NOT EVEN THE 'QUEEN OF HEAVEN'!

·        Listen to what the pre-incarnate Jesus has to say by the mouth of Ethan about other gods (including Mary): “For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?” (Ps. 89:6)  No god or man living on earth or heaven can be compared or likened to the Lord Jesus Christ—none.  Jesus Christ is infinitely above all: including His mother Mary.  Also David said, “Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.” (Ps. 86:8 KJV 1611)  See also Ps. 96:4-5.

·        The prophet Jeremiah gave the Roman Catholics Mary the death sentence in Jer. 10:11.  See also Zeph. 2:11.

·        Look how much homage the Lord Jesus Christ paid to Mary in Matthew 12:46-50.  He put Mary on the same level of His disciples, which is under the Father’s will.

·        Hebrews 1:3 says “he” and “himself” (not ‘her’ and ‘herself’) alone “purged our sins”.  By the way, the phrase “by himself” is taken out of Roman Catholic bibles.

·        Hebrews 7:25 says “he [Jesus Christ] is able also to save them to the uttermost” (not ‘she’).

·        "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell" (Col. 1:19)—Jesus Christ, not Mary.

·        Colossians 2:9 says “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily”—in “him” not ‘her’.

·        Colossians 2:10 says “And ye are complete in him” (not ‘her’).

·        Mary is a saint, and Jesus said the saints are equal to the angels in Luke 20:36; and then Apostle Paul warned us not to worship angels in Col. 2:18.

·        "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matt. 1:21)

·        “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” (Matt. 4:10)

·        “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” (Ps. 91:2)  This passage says “He” (not ‘she’) “is my refuge and my fortress” “my God; in HIM will I trust.”

·        Roman Catholics idolize Mary because she was told “blessed art thou AMONG women” (Luke 1:28).  Yet the Holy Spirit put a woman in the Old Testament higher than her—for it is written in Judges 5:24, “Blessed ABOVE women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be”.  My question then is this, why don’t the Catholics worship Jael?

·        In Luke 11:27, when some woman tried to talk to Jesus about how blessed Mary was, He corrected her and told her about some people more blessed than Mary—you’d never guess who they were?  They were Bible-believers!  Read it!  “And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” (Luke 11:27-28)  You see the difference between the Biblical Mary and the Mary of pagan mythological fantasies is about as wide as the Grand Canyon.

·        In Matthew 2:13, 14, 20, and 21 we read in all four verses of scripture the phrase “the young child and his mother”.  Notice, Jesus is always first and Mary is a postscript or afterthought.  Also, it is Jesus who Herod the king wanted to murder.  Herod was not worried the least about Mary; because Mary was not a threat to him—as Bro. Ruckman said, ‘She couldn’t have given him a headache.’  But Jesus, on the other hand, was competition and a huge threat because He’s the Almighty King of kings and Lord of lords!

·        We have details on the translation of both Enoch and Elijah. (see Gen. 5:24; 2 Kings 2:11; Heb. 11:5)  But nowhere does it suggest that Mary, or even one the apostles was ever ‘assumed’—rather, we ASSUME they all died physically and their bodies will be resurrected at the Rapture.  ‘The Assumption’ is a Catholic dogma defined by Pope Pius XII in 1950.  Also, we have some scanty details of the assumption of Moses from Jude 9 and Deut. 34:6—I can go with that because it’s biblical—but the assumption of Mary can’t be found anywhere in the Holy Bible with laser beams and 1,000 watt flashlights.  You shouldn’t make doctrines, on the pains of damnation or excommunication, if you can’t prove them from the Bible.

·        But God forbid that I should glory, save in the intercession of the blessed virgin mother—WRONG!  Here is the right quotation: “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” (Gal. 6:14)

·        Mary was present at Christ’s Crucifixion: why then did the dying thief call on the Lord, and not Mary (if she was a mediatrix)?

·        In the Bible, Jesus didn’t not call Mary his ‘mother’... He called her “woman” (John 2:4, 19:26).

·        If Mary was the ‘Mother of God’ why don’t we have ANY information on miracles she performed?  We read of plenty of miracles from the lives of Elijah and Elisha in 1 & 2 Kings... how come the Catholic Magisterium has never exalted them to Godhood?

·        Roman Catholics are anti-Semitic, except when it comes to worshipping Mary—and thus they can take up the devil’s will to neglect the honor that only our Lord Jesus Christ deserves (see Col. 1:19, 2:9) and disobey the 1st and 2nd Commandments (see Ex. 20:1-6).

·        Christ is called the “mediator” (Heb. 8:6, 9:15, 12:24) not a mediatrix.  And in Old Testament Christ is called a “daysman” (Job 9:33); not a dayswoman.

·        What overcomes the devil?  The “testimony of Jesus Christ” (see Rev. 12:11, 17).  According to the title page of the King James Bible it is “The New Testament of our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST”.  “Testament” and “testimony” are similar terms: and both pertain to the work and person of Jesus Christ.  It is the confession or testimony of Jesus Christ (not Mary) that overcomes the devil. (see Matthew 10:32-33; Luke 12:8-9) Sure, I believe Christ was begotten of God by the Virgin Mary; but she provided the natural or material aspect of the person of Jesus.  The Holy Spirit provided the supernatural or immaterial or spiritual aspect of Christ.  He was fully God and fully man.  But it is God who saved me.  Mary was involved in it just like all of Christ’s ancestors in His genealogy; they we’re simply a vehicle God used.  I worship God—not the throne he sits or the chariot he rides on.  The New Testament overcomes Satan because it is for Christians—“the word of their testimony” (Rev. 12:11).  “The word” is the Holy Bible viz. the Old and New Testaments.  And the Testimony is the New TESTAMENT of our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST!!!

·        The “testimony of Jesus Christ” is called “the spirit of prophecy” (see Rev. 12:17, 19:10).  The Bible is about Jesus from Genesis to Revelation. (see Luke 24:27; John 5:39; 1 Pet. 1:10-11)  Mary shows up in only about 1,000th of the passages compared to her Son.  There are over 50 Old Testament prophecies about Christ and only 1 about Mary (see Is. 7:14).  But back to Revelation.  Revelation is the consummation.  So we should find out in Revelation who the final and supreme power is, right?  Well, we do, and in Revelation 19 He’s called “The Word of God”.  And in Revelation 20:6 we read about the Millennium and see that the Millennial Kingdom is “of God and of Christ”.  Opps!  I didn’t see the Millennium being named after the ‘Mother of God’ or the ‘Goddess of Heaven’?  The Millennium is named after “GOD” and “CHRIST”. (cf. Eph. 5:5)

·        In Saint John’s Gospel the Lord talked about His “Father” scores of times.  But He didn’t even address Mary as his “mother” once!  He called her “WOMAN” (John 2:4, 19:26; Gal. 4:4).

·        Read this verse of Pauline Scripture: “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor. 3:11)  The true church is build on Christ and His word (cf. Eph. 2:20).  Roman Catholicism however, is built on a false foundation of Peter and Mary.

·        Rome is the city on seven hills (Rev. 17:9) and is lead by “the idol shepherd” (Zech. 11:17).  This is apparent due to the fact that Catholics often worship statues and they had the nerve to strike out the 2nd Commandment from the Ten Commandments.

·        If Mary was so elevated as the Catholic church claims: the Lord would have had a perfect opportunity to honor her in Luke 7:28.  But He didn’t and He put John the Baptist on a higher level of holiness than her.

·        "Doubtless thou art our father, though ABRAHAM BE IGNORANT OF US, and ISRAEL ACKNOWLEDGE US NOT: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting." (Isaiah 63:16)

·        In Revelation 5:3 the angel asked “Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof?” Next verse, “And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.” Obviously Mary didn’t qualify.  NOBOBY DID EXCEPT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. (Rev. 5:5)

Jesus’ brethren

(Mary was not a 'perpetual' virgin.)

·        This is why this teaching is good, because it shows that Mary was not a 'perpetual virgin', she was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus, but she had several children after him.

·        References: John 2:1-5, 12, 17; Psalm 69:8-9; Romans 15:3; Mark 3:31-35, 6:3; Matthew 1:25, 12:46-50, 13:55-56; John 7:5; Acts 1:14; Gal. 1:19; Luke 2:7, 8:19-21; Song 1:6

·        See ‘If The Foundations Be Destroyed’ page 23

·        See ‘New Age Versions’ pages 108-113

·        Some scholars also believe that Jude (the author of the General Epistle of Jude [the second to last Book in the Holy Bible]) also was Jesus’ brother.  This is because Jude referred to himself as the “brother of James” (Jude 1), who in Gal. 1:19 was called “the Lord’s brother”, therefore making Jude also a brother of the Lord.

·        Notice what happens here when we read John Chapter 2.  First we’re told Jesus is with “...his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples...” (John 2:12).  You see, his brethren and his disciples were two groups; and they wouldn’t have been His disciples or brethren if they weren’t ‘following’ Him.  So immediately after this verse we come to the story about Jesus Christ cleansing the temple at Jerusalem.  As the story closes, (remember Jesus’ mother, brethren, and disciples are still in the context,) John the evangelist quotes Psalm 69 verse 9.  [And well so, John wrote his Gospel by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost; and Psalm 69:9 describes exactly why Jesus cleansed the temple.]  But now go back to Psalm 69 and read the verse right before: “I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.” (Psalm 68:8)  Do you see that!  There’s Jesus Christ’s “brethren”, viz. His “mother’s children”; that’s clear, Mary did not have one child (Jesus), she had “children” plural.  She therefore was NOT a ‘perpetual virgin’ like the Roman Catholic church heretically teaches.  Jesus was her “firstborn son” (Matt. 1:25; Luke 2:7), but He wasn’t her only son.  Jesus was her only son conceived of the Holy Ghost! The “firstborn” in Matthew 1:25 is REMOVED in the Roman Catholic bibles!

·        For an additional piece of proof that Psalm 69 is a Messianic Psalm—Apostle Paul directly tells us Jesus Christ fulfilled Psalm 69:9 in Romans 15:3. [IT’S THE VERY SAME VERSE JOHN QUOTED IN JOHN 2:17.]  Therefore without question Psalm 69:8 is a reference to Mary and Jesus’ ‘half-brethren’ who are listed in Mark 6:3 and Matthew 13:55-56.

·        If these brethren were cousins, the scripture would have said it like it did about Elisabeth in Luke 1:36.  After Ruckman quoted Mark 6:3, Psalm 69, and John 2 to prove Mary had seven children: and thus prove 900 million people on this earth are liars, he said, ‘You better get rid of the Book, you better revise it.’  I pray I would let the Scriptures reprove and correct me (see Prov. 6:23; 2 Tim. 3:16), instead of me correcting the holy scriptures (KJB 1611), like the apostate Christians do. [Note: I gleaned this information from Bro. Ruckman from his 2003 ISS Track 12.]

·        David wrote Psalm 22 and it wasn’t about him: it was about the Spirit of Christ in him (see 1 Pet. 1:11).  Psalm 69 is also a psalm of Messianic suffering.  David wrote Ps. 69: and verses 9, 21, 22-23 were fulfilled in John 2:17; Rom. 15:3; Matt. 27:34; Rom. 11:9-10.  So why wouldn’t verse 8 (of Psalm 69) be the Spirit of Christ speaking too?
