Praise His Word
By Prophet Jacob R. Blandford
How can you
worship God without the Holy Bible?
A study of Psalm 56 verses 4 and 10.
(Christianity is a Biblical religion.)
How can you come into a Protestant church sanctuary without the Bible? How can you be a Christian without the Bible when Christianity is a Bible religion? How can a Christian sanctuary not have a majestic (see Ps. 29:4) 1611 Bible sitting out front on display? How can a Christian minister in the pulpit not even know what Bible to preach from?
This is the current state of apostate, hypocritical, deluded, Laodicean Christianity Today.
How can you come into the house of God to worship Him when Psalm 56 says "In God I will praise his word... In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word." (Ps. 56:4, 10 KJV) Yet you don't even know what Word to worship? You want to worship God but you don't even know what He's magnified above all His name. I’ll answer: it’s God’s WORD (see Ps. 138:2 KJV). If you think this concept of praising God's Word is over-exaggerated then obviously you've never read Psalm 119 (the longest chapter in the Bible). And you obviously don't know how to praise and worship the Son of God because you don't know Who is being described in John 1:1, 14; Heb. 4:12-13; I John 1:1, 5:7; Rev. 19:13.
How can you worship the Lord Jesus Christ, "The Word of God" (Rev. 19:13), when you don't even know where the word of God is?
If you're trying the worship the Lord Jesus Christ without the word of God, you're worshipping "another Jesus" (II Cor. 11:4) and NOT the True Son of God. Religion without the Bible is false religion.
I don't think anyone would dispute
that Christianity is a religion dealing with, and worshipping God through Jesus
Christ for, His TRUTH. God is called the
"...LORD God of truth." (Psalm 31:5) [cf. Ps. 31:5 with Luke
23:46] The Lord Jesus Christ is the
Truth Personified. (see John 1:14, 17, 14:6; Eph.
4:21; I John 5:20) Therefore, a true
worshipper of Christ Jesus is a worshipper of truth. (see
John 4:23, 24) Therefore the eminence of
truth cannot be stressed enough. It's
the truth that makes us free. (see John 8:32) Truth is so important that I could go on and
on and write about it. So here is the
question: where then do we get truth from!
The answer is given in Daniel 10:21, John 17:17, and II Timothy
3:16. We get the Truth from the
Scriptures. This was the 1611
translators' goal "to make God's holy Truth to be yet more and more known
unto the people" (Epistle Dedicatory).
And they did it by translating "the holy scriptures" (Rom.
1:2; II Tim.
How can you call yourself a soldier, contender, and warrior for the Lord Jesus when you don't even know where the Sword of the Lord is? (see Eph. 6:17; Heb. 4:12) That mess you're quoting in your apostate pulpit cannot cut jack cheese, much less the prince of darkness. As a matter of fact, Satan gave you that butter knife so you wouldn't cut him.
When you bring a false bible into the sanctuary of God you're setting up an abomination of desolation. You're committing idolatry: breaking the 1st Commandment. You're provoking God's anger, wrath, and curse with that mess. You're doing what God warned against in Psalms 16:4, 73:27, 81:9. Since God the Son equates Himself to His Word, it's easy to see that when Laodiceans chose all these NEW 'bibles' they fulfilled this prophecy, "They chose new gods; then was war in the gates..." (Judges 5:8). And again, "I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not." (Is. 66:4) This whole Bible version apostasy reminds me of Apostle Paul's eschatological prophecy of a "strong delusion" (II Thess. 2:11); and this modern day evil, along with the ecumenical movement, could very well be part of that latter day prediction.
How can you be a Protestant with a Protestant Bible? How can you be a Protestant when you don't even know what Bible to protest with?
