Laodicean Scythians

By Prophet Jacob R. Blandford

Apostle Paul wrote the Epistle to the Colossians in 64 A.D. in the first century.  It is an apostolic letter inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16) for the church age dispensation.  In Colossians, Paul mentions “Laodicea” 5 times in the Epistle. (Colossians 2:1, 4:13, 15, 16)  That tells me it is targeted to the very last days (the 20th & 21st centuries), because Laodicea is the last church the Risen Christ addressed in Revelation Chapters 2 & 3. (Rev. 1:11, 3:14)

Paul made a subtle prophetic statement when he mentioned “Scythian” believers in Colossians 3:11.  Today those are Russian (Laodicean) Christians.  On a biblical map ‘Scythia’ is exactly where modern Russia is located: north of the Caspian Sea.  Obviously the Holy Ghost knew prophetically there would be Russian Christians there in the latter days—because they’re there.  For example: Trinity Broadcasting Network has a Russian television network and Bible Broadcasting Network has a Russian radio station.  73% of Russians identify themselves as Christians.  That means there are roughly 106 million Christians living in Russia!  Russia is a Christian nation, Amen!  How did Apostle Paul know they would all be there unless the Spirit of prophecy had told him?
